April:
·          Water rotated and stored
·          Water storage for 72 hour kits
·          Create database with all your account information with contact info
Focus: Gardening
Workshop:
·          Neighborhood Garden Tour


May:
·          Begin Meat Storage
·          Gather 1 current complete clothing change per family member
·          Make copies of important documents such as birth certificates, insurance papers, deeds, etc. and put originals in safe.
Focus: Preserving Meats
Workshop: Pressure Canning Meats


June:
·          Begin Dairy Storage
·          Gather Toiletries for 72 hour kit
·          Collect all insurance information—check coverage
Focus: Storing and using Dairy
Workshop:
·          Making Yogurt and Kefir
·          Using Powdered Milk
·          Canning butter
·          Storing cheese


July:
·          Have 1 alternate cooking method
·          Gather rain gear, work gloves, sunscreen and bug spray
·          Collect receipts/pictures/appraisals on big ticket items in your home
Focus: Dutch and Solar ovens
Worshop:
·          Use a Solar oven
·          Use a dutch oven


August:
·          Gather First Aid items for home/72 hour/ and car first aid kits
Focus: First Aid
Workshop:
·          First aid clinic for all those 10 and older—Heimlich, CPR, wound care, burn care, insect/snake bite care


September:
·          Add home preserved produce to food storage
·          Gather emergency blankets and comfort items for children
·          Gather immunization records/medical histories/prescriptions/recent pictures
Focus: Freezing Produce
Workshop:
·          How to freeze and use frozen produce


October:
·          72 hour kits assembled and ready
Focus: Snack foods made from home storage ingredients
Workshop:
·          Dehydration, vacuum sealing, nutrition bars
·          Swap meet for 72 hour kit items


November:
·          Financial Preparedness Ready
Focus: Financial First aid Kit and Storing Oils, sweets, fats and snacks
Workshop:
·          Legal help for wills, living wills, Power of Attorney
Making jams, candies, cookies


December:
·          Building up resources and storage in the home
Focus: Gift of Preparedness
Workshop:
·          Car Kits, Jar mixes, Dinner in a bag, 72 hour kits gifts, storage equipment
